Meet Our Supervisor…
Farmer, Banker, Family Man
Charlie Vaughters is a long-time resident of Goochland County. He is a graduate of Rice University and the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia, where he earned his Master of Business Administration. Mr. Vaughters has worked in various roles in investment banking, commercial banking, and independent consulting. Charlie also feels personally connected with Goochland's agricultural priorities and farming interests, as he operates a farm. Currently, he serves as Managing Director and Head of Commercial Banking Development for Primis Bank in Richmond. He also serves as a Board Member and Vice Chair of the Virginia Board for Professional and Occupational Regulation, appointed by Governor Glenn Youngkin for a four-year term ending in July 2026.
Additionally, he is active in the community serving as a Board Member and Chair of Jacob’s Ladder, Board Member of Union Presbyterian Seminary, and he teaches financial literacy to incarcerated individuals through Resilience Education. He also has served as the Goochland County District 4 Supervisor since 2022.
